According to the latest report from the Global Wind Energy Council, the global wind power installed capacity will reach 117 gigawatts in 2023, a year-on-year increase of 50% and setting a new historical high. Among them, China accounts for nearly 65% of the world's total newly installed capacity with 75 gigawatts. From January to August this year, China's wind power generation reached nearly 600 billion kilowatt hours, accounting for nearly one tenth of the country's total power generation, and has become the third largest source of electricity in China.

Qin Haiyan, Secretary General of the Wind Energy Professional Committee of the China Renewable Energy Society: The cumulative lifting capacity of wind power in China has exceeded 500 million kilowatts, and the global cumulative installed capacity is just over 1 billion kilowatts. China basically accounts for half of the global installed capacity. Chinese wind power will play an increasingly important role in the development of global wind power, global energy transition, and climate change response.
